DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Dayton Detectives say three suspects led them on a chase after they spotted a drug deal in progress.

The three men were arrested Tuesday night.

Officers say they chased two suspected buyers and the suspected seller to U-S 35, where they finally surrendered.

The alleged buyers told officers they swallowed the drugs to hide the evidence.

Police say it's become a pattern of bad behavior.

Sergeant Gary Lowe of The Dayton Police Department said, "This is the third time they've been down here. Probably, they've been down here more. But, they've been caught three times and one of the officers told me that this guy has overdosed here in the parking lot and they've actually saved his life."

The men are in The Montgomery County jail where they were booked on drug charges.
