EUGENE, Ore. - The University of Oregon football team will once again be pushing the boundaries of athletic fashion. Oregon has made headlines with cutting-edge uniform designs and combinations for the past decade, and 2009 will be no exception.

In conjunction with Nike, the Ducks rolled out their fifth major uniform change since 1996 and first since 2006, according to ESPN.com .

Incorporating various colors including kelly green, yellow, white, black and silver, the new models give the Ducks 80 different combinations of jersey, pants and helmet. The 2006 versions actually had 384 possible game-day combinations .

The uniforms are not only stylish (depending on who you ask), but they are also practical. Between the uniforms, pads and details like titanium d-rings on the belts, the new models reportedly reduce the total weight of the uniforms by 25 percent.

Oregon carried the unveiling of the uniforms live on its Web site where you can view the video and photos of the new uniforms.
