TROTWOOD, Ohio (WDTN) - For the first time the Rams brought home to Trotwood a state football championship.  Trotwood Madison beat Avon 42-28 for the Division II Title earlier this month.  The victory came one year after Trotwood fell just short in the Division II state championship game.

The team, coaches, and volunteers were treated to a free all-you-can-eat meals at the McDonald's on Salem Avenue Tuesday night.

"It feels good to get a lot of respect in the city, more people respect us because there ain't nothing they can say. There's nothing else to be done. We're 15-and-0 state champs," said player Bam Bradley.

Coach Maurice Douglas added, "Our guys went out every week and accepted the challenge and they staved focused during the week during school days."  The coach said the players all have bright futures ahead of them.  Many have been offered scholarships to play at the next level.

McDonald's closed down the fast food restaurant so the team could close out the season together and celebrate the ultimate win.
