LEBANON, Ohio (WDTN) - Police say a man stabbed his ex- girlfriend in Warren County, then slashed his own throat.
Officers say the man first tried to get back together with the the victim at her apartment on Georgetown Drive in Lebanon Wednesday evening.
When she refused, investigators say he stabbed her at least ten times on the back porch.
One of her children was also hurt, although officers say the child was not stabbed.
The man then took off.
Deputies caught up with him on the ramp from State Route 73 to I-75.
They tried to pull him over, but say he slashed his own throat.
The northbound lanes of 75 were shut down while careflight landed to take him to the hospital.
Police say both the suspect and the victim died from their injuries.
