DAYTON, Ohio (Dayton Business Journal) - SelectTech GeoSpatial has landed a deal with a Virginia technology company.
Springfield-based SelectTech, a manufacturer of electronic systems, communications, sensors, hardware fabrications and frames, will design and manufacture two varieties of airborne-certified enclosures for Herndon, Va.-based iDirect Government Technologies.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
iDirect offers secure satellite-based voice, video and data applications that provide connectivity in the air, sea and on land.
“Our end-to-end capability with full-scale manufacturing will support the high-quality standards of iGT in the design and manufacture of airborne-certified enclosures,” said Scott Sullivan, SelectTech president.
SelecTech will produce the iDirect e850mp-series satellite router airborne enclosures.
“As the demand for high bandwidth airborne communications continues to increase, it is imperative that we have a partner who has a proven track record in designing airborne-certified equipment,” said Karl Fuchs, iGT’s vice president of technology. “We have found that partner with SelectTech.”
iDirect Government Technologies, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of VT iDirect Inc., serves the Department of Defense and civilian government agencies.
