FAIRBORN, Ohio (WDTN) - A UPS truck entering an secure entrance gate at Wright Patterson Air Force Base set off sensors that test for explosives.

Daryl Mayer with Wright Patterson Air Force Base Public Affairs says that an extensive search by base security inspected a UPS truck after testing positive for explosives.

Additional tests confirmed the vehicle was safe and base officials released the truck and traffic resumed normal flow.

Ohio State Patrol troopers were called to SR route 444 in Fairborn to help clear the traffic that was backed up on the roadway because of the gate being shut down.
