WASHINGTON, D.C. (WDTN) - Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown chimed in on the scandal surrounding Congressman Anthony Weiner.

Brown believes Weiner should resign.

In an interview from Washington D.C., Brown told 2 News that Weiner, who refuses to quit, is distracting lawmakers from the real issues affecting our country.

A new poll shows 56% of Weiner's constituents do not want him to resign.

Weiner initially lied about putting suggestive photos of himself on Twitter. He later admitted that he did it.
