DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Three Dayton roommates sued a popular rental chain, claiming that bedbugs came along with their merchandise.

The plaintiffs claim they rented a couch from Rent-A-Center. They say it was infested with bedbugs when it arrived.

The roommates say they had to hire an exterminator and toss many possessions.

The lawsuit alleges that Rent-A-Center was negligent and caused emotional distress.

Their lawsuit is asking for damages to be determined at trial.
