Richmond police investigating man shot dead

RICHMOND, Ind. (WDTN) - UPDATE: Richmond police have identified the victim in a deadly shooting. According to officials, Brian Chisholm was shot and killed at his Richmond home Saturday.

Officers were called to the 500 block of South 12th Street around 8:20 p.m. on reports of a man shot.

When police arrived, they found 37-year-old Brian Chisholm with multiple gunshot wounds to the torso. He was transported by ambulance to Reid Memorial Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Detectives are still investigating the incident.
