Washington D.C. (WDTN) - Wednesday, November 14, President Obama is expected to address congresses fiscal divide as well as the topic that has taken over Washington, the David Petraeus scandal that has now ensnared another high-ranking military official.

Now on the hot seat General John Allen - the top commander in Afghanistan.

He himself is expected to make a statement Wednesday denying any wrongdoing.

The FBI and the CIA will be looking into the controversy involving Generals Petraeus and Allen, more specifically the nature of emails between General Allen and Tampa socialite Jill Kelley.

One senior official says they weren't explicit, but used names like "sweetheart" and dear"  considered unprofessional at the very least.

It was Kelley's initial complaint about threatening emails that touched off an investigation that led to the discovery of an affair between Petraeus and Paula Broadwel.

Also in D-C this morning, questions remain about whether Petraeus should be called to testify about his investigation into 4 deaths in the Benghazi Embassy attack, an issue that has been overshadowed by the Patraeus resignation.
