Popular bike path closes for repairs

Crews begin minor construction

MIAMI COUNTY, Ohio (WDTN) - A popular bike trail will be closed for repairs.

The Miami County Park District said the "tow path" section of the Great Miami Recreational Trail will be closed beginning Monday, September 13.

It will remain closed until workers are finished making some repairs to the bike way

Bikers or walkers will not be able to use the path between Tipp City and Dye Mill Road.

Crews will be digging up about 350-feet of that bike way.

Signs will be posted about this closure.

It should reopen by Thursday, September 16.
