Leitzell beats McLin

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Challenger Gary Leitzell has defeated incumbent Rhine McLin in the race for Dayton mayor.

Leitzell, the chairman of the Southeast Priority Board and a political newcomer, won by just 878 votes, 14,923 to 14,045.

McLin was seeking a third term as mayor.
