DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - 2 News has learned a metal tool company with a facility already in Miamisburg has plans to expand into the old Emery cargo hub at the Dayton International Airport.

A source within SB Specialty Metals LLC said the company plans to use at least 150,000 square feet of space to take and distribute metal tool steels.

According to its website, SB Specialty Metals LLC already has ten service centers located across North America.

2 News has learned negotiations are underway with Industrial Realty Group on a lease agreement.  IRG owns the former General Motors Truck Assembly Plant in Moraine.

The Vice President of Administration at SB Specialty Metals LLC told 2 News the president of the company will wait to comment until the deal is done.

In April of last year, the City of Dayton, UPS, and IRG entered into an agreement that released UPS from its obligation in terms of rent and turned the building over to IRG.  UPS used to lease space from the city there and still has to remove fuel tanks on site.
