CINCINNATI (AP) - Some Broadway star power will help close out the World Choir Games in Cincinnati.
The closing ceremony Saturday evening features Idina Menzel, Tony award-winning star of "Wicked" and "Rent." The Cincinnati Pops Orchestra also will perform in the U.S. Bank Arena.
The games that began July 4 brought 15,000 participants from more than 60 countries, competing in categories including barbershop, show choirs, and jazz. It's the first time the games, held every two years, have been hosted in the United States.
The 2014 games will return to Europe, in Latvia.
