TRENTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Two local law enforcement agencies are investigating why two people were hit by trains in separate incidents.
The first was in Trenton, in Butler County, where a man in his 20's was hit by a CSX train at the trestle over Elk Creek.
Investigators believe the man committed suicide. His name has not been released.
The second incident happened shortly after 4:30 in Clark County. Clark County Sheriff Gene Kelly, says a pedestrian was hit by a train on Enon Road in Mad River Twp. He has been identified as a 17-year old Austin Gilbert.
The investigation continues.
