Two arrested after reports of shots fired

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio (WDTN) - Middletown police have arrested two suspects after several reports of shots fired on Roosevelt Boulevard late Friday night.

Officers received calls of shots fired in the 2300 block of Roosevelt Boulevard and then again in the 3500 block just after 11:30 p.m. Friday.

When police responded to the scene, they were able to locate the vehicle involved and found spent shell casings in and around the car. Officers also found an AK47 in the trunk.

According to police, Roderick and Christian Robinson were seen running from the vehicle and were arrested nearby after a brief search.

Roderick Robinson, 29, of Middletown was charged with having weapons while under disability.

Christian Robinson, 27, of Middletown was charged with having weapons while under disability, possession of heroin, possession of crack cocaine, and tampering with evidence.
