Troopers seize crack, pills and pot

WAPAKONETA, Ohio (WDTN) - Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers arrested three people on drug charges after stopping their car on Interstate 75 in Auglaize County.
According to Lt. Anne R. Ralston, troopers stopped the 2012 Nissan Murano for speeding just north of Wapakoneta on October 14. While talking to the driver, they detected an odor of raw marijuana. A probable cause search uncovered marijuana-laced lollipops and cookies, 29 grams of crack cocaine, a variety of prescription pills and marijuana.
The driver, Kenneth Franklin James II, 30, of Westland, Mich., and passengers, Ricky Dewayne Hickman, 32, of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Celsi Lynne Parks, 18, of Ypsilanti, Mich., were charged with trafficking in cocaine and trafficking in marijuana.
All three suspects were taken to the Auglaize County Jail.
If convicted, each could face up to 11 years in prison and up to a $25,000 fine.
