BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (WDTN) - Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers seized 656 oxycodone hydrochloride pills and a small amount of marijuana following a traffic stop in Wood County.
Troopers stopped a rented 2011 Chevrolet Malibu, with Minnesota registration, for a speeding on Interstate 75 southbound on Oct. 5.
Troopers said they detected an odor of raw marijuana and a probable cause search uncovered the pills and the pot hidden in the car.
The driver, Vincent Edge, 25, of Eastpointe, Mich., and passenger, Laricca Hicks, 18, of Kennbec, Mich., arrested and charged with two counts of possession of drugs, and one count of trafficking of drugs.
Troopers estimated the drugs were worth a combined $11,800.
