Toledo welcomes home Olympian

TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) - Toledo is welcoming home Olympic high jumper Erik Kynard who won a silver medal in London.

A celebration is set for Saturday at Toledo's Rogers High School where Kynard won two state titles in high jump.

There's also a parade in his honor.

The 21-year-old who now attends Kansas State won the silver during his first Olympics. He's also a two-time NCAA high jump champion.
