DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - It's Tim Hortons Camp Day - Wednesday, June 6 is the day of Tim Hortons annual fundraiser that sends economically disadvantaged kids to camp.

If you love coffee and love kids, this fundraising event is for you.

On Camp Day, Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop restaurant owners generously donate 100 percent of proceeds from coffee sales to the Tim Horton Children's Foundation, helping send more than 15,000 in-need kids each year on an unforgettable, life-changing, fun-filled camping adventure.

Since 2000, approximately 1,500 kids throughout Ohio have been sent to camp, Tim Hortons public realtions manger Brynn Burton said. Last year alone $9.9 million was raised in the United States and Canada on Camp Day, according to Burton.
