LORAIN Co., Ohio (WDTN) - Someone has a real sweet tooth in Lorain County, Ohio.

The so-called peanut butter bandit just loves Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.

Gas station store clerks say he's stolen hundreds of dollars worth of the candy from their store.

A Sunoco worker even tried to jump the man as he tried to steal some more Tuesday.

The question on everyone's minds, why Reese's Cups, when there is so much to choose from?

"If you had to go in and steal a candy bar what would it be?  Almond Joy," said one customer. Another said, "Might be a Snickers. You'd go for a Snickers? I think so, but Reese's Cups are good too, so I'd go for those too."

Workers say the man has taken between $400 and $600 worth of peanut butter cups in the past few months.
