Police search for missing 12-year-old boy

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Columbus police are search for a missing Columbus boy last seen Thursday at a family friend's house on the city's east side.

Erik Thompson Jr. is a 12-year-old African-American, 5 foot 11 inches tall and about 90 pounds. He was wearing his school uniform of grey shirt and tan pants when last seen in the Livingston Avenue and Hamilton Road area.

Police ask that anyone with information on the boy contact the Missing Person Unit.
