TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) - Police say six people were shot in a dispute outside a northwest Ohio bar hours after the Super Bowl ended.

It wasn't clear how seriously they were hurt in the shooting Monday shortly after midnight in Toledo. Police said three men and three women were shot.

Police tell The Blade newspaper the injured people had been kicked out of the bar, but officers didn't know what spurred the shootings.

They said they believed the bar was crowded because of the big football game. One officer called the shooting scene "mad chaos."

A hospital spokeswoman says access to the emergency room at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center was limited for a couple of hours while victims were treated so that security officers could track which people were coming and going.
