ELYRIA, Ohio (WDTN) - A Pennsylvania man was arrested on the Ohio Turnpike Wednesday with what Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers said was nearly $40,000 worth of pot.
Troopers stopped James M. Rabuck's 1999 Buick, in Lorain County for a marked lanes violation. They said after criminal indicators were observed, they brought a drug-sniffing canine to the car and a probable cause search uncovered eight pounds of hydroponic marijuana, a pound of oil marijuana hash, and 140 grams of solid marijuana hash.
Rabuck, 42, of Middletown, Pa., is charged with possession of liquid marijuana hash, possession of marijuana and solid marijuana hash and aggravated trafficking in drugs.
If convicted he could face up to 23 years in prison and up to a $45,000 fine.
