HAMILTON, Ohio (AP) - Authorities in southwest Ohio say an 18-year-old man is suspected of fatally stabbing his stepfather on Father's Day.

The JournalNews of Hamilton rreports a 36-year-old man was stabbed Sunday at a house in a quiet subdivision north of Hamilton.

Officers were called to the scene Sunday afternoon, and the teenager was taken into custody on a murder charge. It wasn't immediately clear when he would first appear in court.

Butler County Sheriff's Lt. Mike Craft said other family members were at the home when the stabbing occurred, and the weapon used was a knife from the house. Craft wouldn't comment on other details of what happened or a possible motive.

Craft says the teenager lives at the home.
