COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - An Ohio man has been ordered to pay the state almost $32,000 after he was caught on camera defrauding Ohio's insurance fund for injured workers.

Attorney General Mike DeWine says Jason Dross of Celina pleaded guilty to one count of workers' compensation fraud in November.  The 39-year-old Dross was sentenced Friday to pay the state $31,736.98 in restitution.

Authorities received a tip that Dross was exercising with heavy weights after claiming a workplace injury left him unable to lift more than a few pounds.

Bureau of Workers' Compensation investigators recorded video of Dross at a gym lifting several hundred pounds of weights.

Dross also sentenced to three years of community control, with nine months of jail time suspended.

Dross' attorney did not immediately return a call to his office Sunday.
