CINCINNATI (WDTN) - Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati is hiring.

Casino managers are actively seeking applicants to fill about 750 table games dealer and supervisor positions.

Table games job descriptions and an online application is available today through September 16 at www.HorseshoeCincinnati.com . Several resources are also available online to help job seekers learn more about working in table games including video interviews with real Horseshoe dealers and supervisors, details about working for Horseshoe and a ‘Frequently Asked Questions’ document.

The casino recruiting team is prepared to screen thousands of dealer candidates. Horseshoe Cleveland, which opened in May, received more than 12,000 applications when it began recruiting dealers a year ago. Prior casino experience is not necessary to apply, but candidates must:
be 21 years of age;

  • hold a high school diploma or GED;
  • able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays;
  • willing to attend several weeks of free training on their own time prior to the casino opening.
  • willing submit to Horseshoe’s drug test and background check; and,
  • able to fulfill requirements to be licensed by the Ohio Casino Control Commission

For job seekers interested in other casino work, hundreds of additional positions will be posted on the website throughout the fall and early winter to round out the casino’s 1,700 member workforce prior to a planned spring 2013 opening.
