CELINA, Ohio (WDTN) - Celina police say a man was forcibly removed from his home and driven to the bank to clear out his bank account.

The robbery occurred October 9, 2012.

Police say someone knocked on the door a 77-year old man, who the homeowner allowed inside.

The suspect then forced the man to drive him to a Chase bank and remove money from the victim's personal account.

Police say the suspect ordered the man to drop him off near the Celina Wine Store on W. Logan Street where he disappeared.

The victim was not hurt. He contacted the bank when he got home, who then called police.

Police describe the suspect as wearing a dark blue or dark gray hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled up around his face, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.

Call the Celina Police Department at 419-586-2345 if you have any information about the crime.
