CAMDEN, Ohio (WDTN) - Millions of gallons of gas have been recalled by BP, some of which were trucked to a station in Camden.
The oil giant reported nearly 10,000 customers filed claims after filling their tanks with some 4.7 million gallons containing a high level of polymer residue.
The gas was sold throughout Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin and Camden. Only the BP station at 201 W. Central Ave in Camden was affected.
Customers whose vehicles were stricken by the bad gas can file a claim online through BP Response .
The fuel was shipped from BP’s Whiting, Ind. fuel storage terminal in shipments of premium and mid-grade gas.
