3-year-old hit by car dies in Cincinnati

CINCINNATI (AP) - Police say a 3-year-old boy has died after being struck by a car while walking with his mother and two siblings on a sidewalk in Cincinnati overnight.
Cincinnati police say Rodriguez Taylor was taken to Children's Hospital Medical Center early Monday where he died from his injuries. Taylor's mother and a 1-year-old boy were taken to hospitals for treatment of injuries that were not considered life-threatening. Police say a 5-year-old child was not injured.
Police say the driver failed to control her car and drove left of center, striking a utility pole and hitting the pedestrians on the sidewalk around 4:30 a.m. Monday. The driver was not injured.
Police said in a release Monday that they believe alcohol was a factor in the crash and are continuing to investigate.
