CINCINNATI (AP) - Big crowds mean big frustration for wireless users at and around the Cincinnati Reds' Great American Ball Park.

The Cincinnati Enquirer reports that fans and nearby residents are fuming about trouble accessing the Internet and sending text messages and email as the Reds draw sellout crowds for this week's playoff games with the San Francisco Giants.

The area around the stadium has developed rapidly in the past couple years, adding restaurants and hundreds of apartments. Hamilton County's stadium director says some wireless providers aren't ready to accommodate large numbers of users at the same time there. Joseph Feldkamp says it's not the first time he's heard complaints.

Providers say they are working on improvements.

Fans gripe that they might miss emergency messages while attending games, besides battery drain.
