COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - The Ohio delegation to the Republican National Convention will get busy on the event's first full day.
Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine and GOP state chairman Bob Bennett are among the speakers scheduled for a delegation breakfast at the headquarters hotel Tuesday.
An afternoon reception is scheduled with Sen. Rob Portman speaking at the Florida Aquarium. House Speaker John Boehner is scheduled to speak near the 7 p.m. opening of the evening session at the Tampa Bay Times Forum, and Ohio Gov. John Kasich has an 8:10 p.m. speaking slot scheduled.
The first day of the convention Monday was postponed because of wind and rain from the passing Tropical Storm Isaac in the Gulf of Mexico.
