MIDDLETOWN, Ohio (WDTN) - New details have come to light in the brutal beating of a baby alpaca.
An officer gave disturbing testimony Wednesday during a preliminary hearing in Middletown.
The officer said that the alpaca named "Masterpiece" was "gurgling in pain" when Staci Mullins and two teen boys took it from it's farm in Madison Township.
The officer said the boys chased and then struck the animal.
Then he says they took it to Mullins' home and beat it until it died.
The trio then dumped the body at a Montgomery county farm.
