DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - The Ohio Department of Natural Resources is on high alert.
The ODNR is urging residents to take special precautions during the unusually dry summer weather.
Dry grass, weeds, leaves and crops are providing fuel for wildfires.
There are some measures you can take to prevent accidental wildfires.
Experts recommend that you avoid burning trash and debris, keep your lawn trimmed, do not let off fireworks and do not discard cigarettes outside.
