New discount store opens in Dayton

DAYTON, Ohio (Dayton Business Journal) - Dayton Business Journal report: The region's first Roses department store opened Tuesday in Dayton's Northwest Shopping Plaza. The 42,000-square-foot discount retail store occupies a long-vacant space previously home to a Kroger store.
The new Roses store offers "value-priced" merchandise including clothing and shoes, home furnishings, housewares, toys, food, and health and beauty products.
The company also is opening a location in Piqua.
