Some Springboro parents fear diversionary tactics are happening…

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - New retail medical clinics called MinuteClinic has opened three walk-in clinics inside CVS/pharmacy stores in the Cincinnati and Dayton metropolitan areas.
Clinic locations in the Dayton area include: the CVS store on North Fairfield Road in Beavercreek, the CVS store on North Main Street in Springboro.
A location in the city of Dayton is expected to open in Dayton in November, and two more clinics are expected to open over the next four months in the Cincinnati and West Chester region. MinuteClinic launched its first retail medical clinics in Ohio in 2006 and now has 33 walk-in clinics inside select CVS/pharmacy stores.
The clinics are staffed by MinuteClinic nurse practitioners who specialize in family health care and can diagnose, treat and write prescriptions for common family illnesses such as strep throat and ear, eye, sinus, bladder and bronchial infections. Minor wounds, abrasions, skin conditions and joint sprains are treated, and common vaccinations such as influenza, tetanus, pneumonia and hepatitis
Most health insurance is accepted. For patients paying cash or credit, treatment prices are posted at each clinic and on www.minuteclinic.com. The cost for most services starts at $79.
