HARRISON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WDTN) - On Wednesday 83-year-old Deeno Gounaris accidentally back his car over his wife.

She is in serious condition.

Neighbors told 2NEWS Gounaris probably should have stopped driving after a 2009 accident he was involved in.

Back then he fell asleep behind the wheel in the middle of the afternoon and crashed into a parked car.

"At some point you have to cut people off from driving," neighbor Steven Owensby said.
