DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - U.S. Marshals arrested the fifth homicide suspect in seven days.  A manhunt Friday morning led to a most wanted man whose been running for weeks.

George Turner, 19, is behind bars at the Montgomery County Jail. He is accused of shooting and killing Deontay Beans in early December.

Dayton Police say Turner pulled the trigger at the Main Mart Convenience store on December 3rd.

"We have obtained statements from Mr. Turner that puts him at the mini mart at the time of the shooting. He excepts responsibility for what happened," said Sgt. Gary White of the Dayton Police Department.

Sgt. White says the shooting was gang related.

But, White says it does not appear that Turner had anything to do with the slaying of Beans' brother earlier this month.

On January 9th, Jeffrey Beans' body was found in an alley behind the Paul Laurence Dunbar House.

The arrest wouldn't have been possible without the help of the U-S Marshals SO-FAST Task force, who tracked Turner down at a relatives house off Cornell.

No arrests have been made in Jeffrey Beans homicide.
