WEST CARROLLTON, Ohio (WDTN) - A baby's very bad timing forces an area mother to deliver him in a bank parking lot. Mother, Marina Seibert, 21, and Father, Jacob Williams, 26, were making their way to Southview Hospital when Seibert went into labor.
The couple pulled over in the US Bank parking lot off South Alex Road in West Carrollton.
Moments later, Aiden Jacob Williams was born at 7.4lbs and 20 inches long.
"I looked and his head was coming out," said Jacob Williams. "I walked around the car and opened the door to help and he just kind of slid right out."
Williams says a 911 dispatcher walked him through what to do next.
"I took my shirt off and gave it to my girlfriend to wrap up the baby," said Williams. "The dispatcher was going to have me take a shoelace and tie it around the umbilical cord to cut it. The ambulance arrived as I was doing that."
"The medics checked out the baby," said Marina Seibert. "He was okay, but he was a little cold. Overall, we are both healthy and happy."
Baby Aiden and Seibert were taken to Southview Hospital.
The family is expected to be able to take Aiden to his new home within the next couple days.
The following people have recently been booked into Jail. They may not have been convicted of the crimes they are charged with and are innocent until proven guilty.
