DAYTON (WDTN) - A suspected serial bank robber turned himself into federal authorities Thursday, September 1.
Officials said Jeffrey Rowe is responsible for at least three bank robberies in Eaton, New Carlisle and West Milton.
Investigators said during the robberies Rowe wore an old man, Halloween mask.
West Milton Police named Rowe as a suspect after reviewing records.
"He did a series of bank robberies in Ohio back in 1998," said West Milton Police Chief Gary Kimpal. "He spent ten years in federal prison and was released in 2008".
Police and F.B.I agents raided Rowe's Grove City home Tuesday night.
Rowe was not home, but decided to turn himself in to U.S. Marshals Wednesday morning.
