DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - A man wanted by authorities in South Carolina was nabbed Friday in Dayton.
The U.S. Marshals SO FAST Task Force found Robert Carver on Torrence Street.
Officials say he kidnapped and sexually assaulted his estranged wife back in 2006.
Carver has been on South Carolina's Top Ten Most Wanted list for years.
"During his arrest, he commented that he was tired of running and that he decided to come to Dayton after throwing a dart at a map. There were no contacts, no family member in the area that we are aware of," said Bill Taylor, U.S. Marshals.
Carver's parents have been arrested in the past for helping him elude police.
Authorities believe Carver came to Dayton shortly after he was charged and has been here ever since.
The following people have recently been booked into Jail. They may not have been convicted of the crimes they are charged with and are innocent until proven guilty.
