DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - A Dayton man wanted by the U.S. Marshals was back in custody Friday evening.

Joseph Michael Hall was arrested in Buffalo, New York. Marshals say he fled San Antonio, Texas to avoid capture by marshals there.

We first told you about Hall back in August when marshals thought he might have returned to the Dayton area.

He is wanted in Dayton for rape and failing to register as a sex offender.

He is in jail, awaiting extradition back to Texas.
