DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - A rape suspect form New York was arrested in Miami Township March 11.

Ronald Preston, 56, of Ontario County, N.Y. was arrested by U.S. Marshals and Miamisburg Police at a home in the 5000 block of Upperton Circle.

Preston was wanted by the Ontario County Sheriff's Office for his alleged involvement in the rape of a former neighbor that occurred in Canandaigua, N.Y. on February 23, 2011.

Preston is being held in the Montgomery County Jail where he awaits extradition back to New York.
