FRANKLIN, Ohio (WDTN) - Firefighters in Warren County were prepared for a home explosion, but what they found was a vacant house fire.

It happened early Monday morning in the 800 block of Park Ave.

When fire crews arrived around 2:00 a.m. they found flames in the back of the house-- but no explosion.

Fire officials told us no one has lived in the home for at least a year, and the gas and electric have been shut off.

Warren County fire investigators were looking into what caused the fire.
