CLINTON COUNTY, Ohio (WDTN) - Cloud formations spotted in Warren and Clinton counties Sunday, June 17, convinced a lot of people that a tornado touched down.
2 NEWS viewer Shela took a photograph along SR 380 of what appears to be a funnel cloud.
A photograph submitted to WDTN's Report It by Michael Reed also shows what appears to be a funnel cloud near Caesar Creek Markets at SR 73 and I-71.
The National Weather Service said it received several calls about the funnel cloud, as well as reports that it touched down briefly, according to published reports. However, forecasters told 2 NEWS their radar never saw the funnel cloud.
Rotating cloud formations were also reported in southwest Clark County between Enon and Springfield.
No injuries or damage was reported.
