CLEARCREEK TWP., Ohio (WDTN) - A Clearcreek Township woman was killed in a single vehicle accident in Warren County Tuesday night.
Investigators said 33-year-old Adrienne Hrenko went left of center on East Lytle Five Points Road, veered off the road and struck a telephone pole before coming to rest in a shallow ravine.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators are looking at speed and road conditions as to why she lost control of her car.
"There were rain showers coming through at the time of the crash and the roads are still wet," Clearcreek Twp. Officer Daniel C. Morgan said at the crash scene Tuesday night. "They were wet at the time. So we think that slick roads probably had a factor in the crash."
Clearcreek Township Police Chief John D. Terrill told 2 NEWS Hrenko was just a half mile from her home when the crash occurred about 8:00.
