Warren Co.: Latest H1N1 vaccine info

LEBANON, Ohio (WDTN) - Warren County Combined Health District will be administering the H1N1 injectable vaccine for children with chronic illnesses on Wednesday, November 4th from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the Springboro Jr. High School located at 1605 S. Main St., Springboro.

There will be no charge for the vaccine.

The following individuals are eligible to receive the H1N1 injectable vaccine at this time:

Children 6 months through 18 years of age with a chronic illness. Chronic illness examples
are:

  • Pulmonary including Asthma
  • Cardiovascular except hypertension
  • Renal
  • Hepatic
  • Cognitive
  • Neurological/Neuromuscular
  • Hematologic
  • Metabolic disorders including diabetes mellitus
  • Immunosuppression including immunospression caused by medications or caused by HIV

In order to receive the vaccination from the health department your child will need proof of their chronic illness. Some examples of proof are script/note from a physician, medication with the child’s name on the label, medical record, or bill with documentation of illness.
