FRANKLIN TWP., Ohio (WDTN) - Franklin Township Police are looking for two suspects after they invaded a home and robbed a family early Saturday morning.
According to the homeowners, the men entered the home in the 8100 block of Madison Road just before 6:45 a.m. Saturday and demanded money.
Police stated a struggle ensued during the robbery, and the wife and daughter were able to call 911. The homeowner was able to grab a gun and fired a shot at one of the suspects. Police stated the suspect may have been hit by a bullet and may have sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Both suspects ran from the scene.
The first suspect is described as a white male, 30-35 years old, 5'8"-5'9", with brown hair and facial hair, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt with dark pants. The second suspect is described as a white male, late 20s to mid 30s, 5'6", 160 lbs., with a thick mustache, wearing a gray knit cap and puffy jacket.
