SIDNEY, Ohio (WDTN) - Sidney police are investigating after a man is shot multiple times in an apartment early Sunday morning.
The shooting happened in the 400 block of North Miami Avenue just after midnight.
According to officials, 27-year-old Dustin Wexel of Versailles was shot several times. He was taken to Wilson Hospital by a friend. Wexel was later airlifted to Miami Valley Hospital for treatment of his gunshot wounds.
Wexel is expected to recover.
Police are still investigating the shooting.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Sidney Police Department.
