SIDNEY, Ohio (WDTN) - Extra firefighters were called to Sidney’s Cargill plant after one of the bean dryers caught fire late Thursday night.
The Sidney Fire Department called in off-duty crews and crews from the Anna Fire Department to help battle the stubborn blaze.
Firefighters say the fire was contained to the first floor area of the dryer tower.
Crews were on the scene for nearly three hours before the situation wrapped up. The cause of the blaze is still under investigation and no injuries were reported.
